As a creative entrepreneur and investor, Fritz has established and developed Q·ADVISERS and various successful ventures. In his corporate life he formed and led as CEO, CA IB Securities London, the powerful Austrian niche investment bank for Central and Eastern Europe and managed UniCredit’s Global Equity Distribution.
Fritz believes in small, flexible organisations with room for entrepreneurial talent, change and spirit. He likes to work with a network of people who share similar values, do not take themselves too seriously and can work well together over regional or corporate borders.
Fritz holds a Doctor’s degree in Law and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Innsbruck. He is also a chartered CEFA Analyst and Journalist.
Jade has twenty years of investment banking experience with a specialisation in M&A of financial institutions. She was formerly head of Financial Institutions Group at CA IB, overseeing all its origination and execution activities in the financial institutions sectors of Central and Eastern Europe and in Austria. Jade has managed a number of landmark financial institutions transactions in the CEE for her clients which included leading CEE and WE financial institutions as well as CEE governments.
Jade oversees Q·ADVISERS’ mergers and acquisitions activities.
Madeline Petrow has 5+ years of experience in building businesses and investment raising. She is a social entrepreneur founding 2 start-ups in London including a VC-backed, top 100 UK Social Enterprise which grew to the largest sustainable fashion marketplace in the UK. Madeline is an active member of the London Start-Up community acting as a business advisor and mentor, and spent the last two years as the Entrepreneur in Residence at King’s College London.
She has lectured at leading universities including London School of Economics, King’s College London, & Cambridge University on entrepreneurship and social impact. As Head of Investments at Q · Advisers, Madeline leverages her experience to oversee new deal flow assessment, portfolio management, and key stakeholder relations.
Madeline holds a MSc in Social Anthropology & Sustainable Development from Edinburgh University as well as an MSc in International Development of Emerging Economies from King’s College London.
Thomas Bogdanowicz has 30+ years experience both as entrepreneur and investor. He created, built up and managed BGS Industrial, a EPC Contractor, as well as Smartcard Systems AG which has been merged into a NASDAQ listed company. He is co-founder to Fritz in Q·ADVISERS. Today, besides his UCP Chemicals AG, he is founder of Q Real and active investor into real estate, sourcing, developing and managing deals across an expansive real estate portfolio. Thomas is also a partner and shareholder in Selina Photovoltaic and SOL PV Capital, as well as founder of SelinaQenergy.
Over the past 10 years, Daniel Rossmann has held management positions with international listed groups in various areas of the construction and real estate industry. From development, asset and portfolio management to the execution of complex real estate transactions in the asset classes office, hotel and residential with a total transaction volume of over € 1 billion.
With over 15 years of investment experience, Jan is in charge of research and risk management.
Previously Jan was Vice President at UniCredit CA IB in London, in charge of equity systematic trading (Global Equity Proprietary Trading Desk), and portfolio manager at Hedge Fund Investments Group (Proprietary Global Single-Manager Portfolio) where he developed a structured manager research and investment process and implemented multiple risk monitoring systems to improve tracking of investment performance.
Jan is a graduate of ESCP-EAP European School of Management and a holder of the CAIA designation.
Alex is a long-time investment professional with a deep knowledge of private and corporate banking, as well as legal services. He worked for Raiffeisen, Chase Manhattan, Credit Lyonnais, HVB. He manages the office of an Austrian foundation and has focused on legal structuring, due diligence and legal counsel services in recent years.
Alex studied at the University of Salzburg and holds a Doctor’s degree in Law.
Markus started to work as an equity analyst at Investmentbank Austria in 1997 in Vienna. After a few years successfully managing Austrian and EME equity funds he joined CA IB Investmentbank in London and Vienna. As Head of Continental European Sales he was responsible for the distribution of their EME equity product. Between 2010 and 2019 he played an essential role in transforming the local Czech brokerage firm WOOD & Company to the leading independent EME brokerage platform.
In 2019 Markus set up his own consulting firm CONSULT/U and following 9 years as passive founding partner in Q∙Advisers he also started to take an active role as investor and advisor within certain projects.
Anna has 20 years of business experience in different fields, focusing mainly on business development, marketing and managing key accounts. She has a track record of more than 15 years in management positions. Anna’s main industry focus is food & beverage and gastronomy sector. She spent over ten years in Unilever Foodsolutions in Poland and Spain, few years in Metro Group, and recently in Starbucks Europe, where she managed seven European markets in the category management.
At Q · Advisers, Anna as the Business Manager is responsible for managing business processes and co-ordinates investment projects. As Investment Manager she is leading Longevity project.
Anna holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Higher School of Banking and Management in Poland, with specialization in managing and marketing.
Daniel holds a master’s degree in Quantitative Finance from Vienna University of Economics and Business. He is co-author of the financial mathematics paper “Closing a Bitcoin trade optimally under Partial Information” and has specialized in financial modelling, quantitative stock analysis and credit risk. At Q·ADVISERS, Daniel is working on corporate finance projects, venture capital investments and private equity transactions. In addition, he is active in building-up Q·ADVISERS renewable energy Joint Venture.
Anna successfully completed her Bachelor of Arts in Management, specialising in international business, at Webster University in Vienna. She completed her Master of Science in Finance and Management at St Andrews University in England.
She gained work experience in the financial services industry in Hamburg and Vienna as an investment analyst and in controlling for several companies such as Falkensteg, Active Solution GmbH and Immowert GmbH.
Stephanie has 7 years of international working experience in London, Abu Dhabi and Munich in marketing, PR and international congress coordination.
As executive assistant of the managing partners of Q·ADVISERS she is responsible for the organization and office management in Vienna. She is also responsible for marketing and PR activities.
Stephanie completed her Masters degree in Communication Science at the University of Vienna and attended courses in London as part of her studies at London College of Communication.
Daniela Marku moved to Vienna 6 years ago to pursue her passion for music at university. Today, she is a pianist, piano teacher and part of the front desk team at Q·ADVISERS. She speaks several languages including German, English, Albanian, in addition to proficiency in Italian and Spanish.
In addition to her studies in Communication Management at FH WKW, Sandra is a member of the front desk team at Q·ADVISERS.
She is fluent in English and Spanish and has worked as a language tutor for children in the past to improve their German language skills. She also gained experience in sales and customer service during an internship.
Harald Wengust and Fritz Schweiger have worked together for many years and teamed up to set up Q·ADVISERS; they invested in various special situations, including the takeover of the real estate asset manager informica real invest AG. Before, Harald was Head of Emerging Europe Equity Trading at CA IB Investmentbank plc, London and the following years he was in charge of Griffin European Opportunities Fund and Griffin European Hedge Fund.
In recent years Harald has specialised in real estate development. His Austrian based company HGW Finanz- und Beteiligungs GmbH works on real estate development projects and is invested in different start-up companies.
